Chat Your Way to A Profitable Business

One of the key parts of any business is your list or your email list.  The challenge is finding marketing strategies that get your audience to respond.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you have undoubtedly seen or "opted in" to someone's list. Below is an example of an Opt-in Form that I use on my website.

Now, you may not want to leave your e-mail address for a 20% discount but what I have found is that people are willing to chat with me via Facebook messenger and get the discount.  Imagine using your same content on your blog or website but using a different method of delivery.  This is mind blowing!!

Why does the Chat Process Work?

Essentially, instead of sending emails as your primary method of communicating with your audience, you use Facebook Messenger to chat with them. Why?  Because your audience can receive an immediate response to their questions regardless of the time of day!!

How does the Chat Process Work?

With email marketing, we automate the process of emailing our audience by using applications like ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp or Drip. Well, the same is true when chatting via Facebook Messenger.  We automate this process with applications that are known as chatbots.

My favorite chatbot is Manychat.  I automate the process of chatting by having Manychat answer FAQ's or Frequently Asked Questions.  You can invite Facebook Page visitors to register for a webinar and conduct it via Facebook Live.  You can educate and sell products or services too!!

Chatbots work like e-mail but in bite-size "chat conversations".  The communication is immediate and engaging.  Your existing "sales funnels" are redesigned to fit into a conversation via chat that can be read on a desktop computer but most likely on a mobile device.  As a result, shorter messages are better.

Chatbots may look Intimidating but imagine this...

  • Within your blog post, you offer to send your FREEBIE Offer (lead magnet) in Messenger
  • Visitor clicks the button and is confirmed in Messenger
  • The bot sends the Freebie offer and subscribers the person to a sequence.  You have a new subscriber with contact information and the site visitor did not have to type much.

The image below is the visual flow of a chat conversation that you might have with a potential customer.

The possibilities are endless.
